Carccu® introduces four new Christmas flower wrapping papers for 2026, featuring nostalgic, botanical, cozy winter and kraft-inspired designs.

Printed on MG paper for wrapping flowers, the four designs range from watercolor illustration and floral greenery to vintage-inspired line art. They reflect several different directions in Carccu’s 2026 trend outlook, including botanical motifs, warm greens, neutral beige and brown tones, white and kraft-inspired bases, and restrained patterning. Despite their different visual styles, the company sees a common principle across the collection: flower wrapping paper should frame and complement the bouquet rather than compete with it, while allowing florists to create varied but visually coherent seasonal presentations.

Christmas Greeting: Nostalgic Christmas Florist Paper with a Christmas Message

Christmas Greeting is a white florist paper featuring imagery that Carccu^® associates with a traditional Christmas. On a white background, a soft watercolor pattern features red-breasted winter birds, pinecones, evergreen sprigs, red-berried holly, and the hand-lettered words Merry Christmas.

The company describes the design as warm and nostalgic, with references to the tradition of illustrated Christmas cards and the atmosphere of a cottage Christmas. According to the manufacturer, the small motifs and generous white space give the all-over pattern a relatively airy appearance, while the small repeat allows the main elements of the design to remain visible on narrower wraps and smaller cut sheets.

According to Carccu, the name reflects the idea behind the pattern: the Merry Christmas wrap allows the wrapping itself to serve as a Christmas greeting.

“This nostalgic paper wishes you a Merry Christmas with red-breasted winter birds and pinecones. It’s like receiving Christmas greetings from your best friend,” said Ritva Borg, designer of Carccu^®’s flower paper patterns.

In the company’s 2026 trend outlook, this holiday trend is characterized by familiar colors, classic motifs, and a warm, festive atmosphere. Carccu sees rich reds and deep green details as creating a timeless palette that kindles memories and immediately evokes feelings of Christmas.

Green Branches: Floral Wrapping Paper for Christmas and Winter

Green Branches is a green florist paper based entirely on foliage. Eucalyptus leaves, red-berried holly, and pine needles overlap on a white background in watercolor shades of green.

Carccu^® sees the upward direction of the branches as visually continuing the greenery of the bouquet into the wrapping. Halftone printing creates different shades within the foliage, which, according to the company, adds depth to the botanical illustration.

As Green Branches does not feature seasonal wording, the manufacturer sees it as an option both for Christmas wrapping without text and, more broadly, for winter bouquet wrapping. According to the company, its festive character comes instead from the small red berries and evergreen foliage.

“In this design, green symbolizes nature, growth, balance, and peace. The small red berries bring a touch of Christmas to the paper,” Borg says.

In Carccu’s interpretation of the trend, the combination of green and earthy tones creates a sense of timeless naturalness. The company sees the trend as reinterpreting calmness, naturalness, and classic aesthetics with a modern lightness, with deep fir and moss greens playing a central role.

Candles: A Cozy Watercolor Christmas Wrap

Candles also uses a white background and watercolor illustration but introduces larger, more decorative motifs. Lanterns appear among evergreen branches, pinecones, red berries, and round red decorative elements, with snow adding to the winter setting.

Compared with the smaller repeat of Christmas Greeting, Carccu^® sees the motifs as creating a stronger decorative rhythm while leaving white space between the groups of illustrations. According to the company, the watercolor treatment helps maintain a soft overall appearance despite the larger scale of the imagery.

Unlike Christmas Greeting, Candles does not contain a printed seasonal message. The manufacturer sees its holiday character as coming instead from the winter imagery.

“This Christmas trend conveys a sense of security, tradition, and winter coziness. Natural wood surfaces, warm whites, and classic red details create an atmosphere reminiscent of snow-covered cottages, candlelight, and peaceful winter evenings,” remarked Borg.

The company describes the broader trend as familiar and down to earth, yet carefully composed. In the manufacturer’s trend interpretation, figures, illuminated houses, and winter landscapes tell small stories and bring Christmas to life, while warm light, textile surfaces, and details from nature contribute to the cozy atmosphere.

Secrets of the Forest: Kraft Flower Paper with a Vintage Winter Forest

Secrets of the Forest differs from the three lighter designs in both its palette and illustration style. This brown florist paper features a fine white line drawing on a warm kraft-inspired background, depicting deer among firs and bare winter trees. Carccu^® describes the visual language as reminiscent of toile de Jouy fabric and traditional engraving.

The company characterizes the design as quiet, timeless, nature-inspired, and story-led, combining kraft flower paper with a rustic, vintage aesthetic. Its warm brown background also connects it with the kraft-inspired bases and beige and brown neutrals identified in the manufacturer’s 2026 trend outlook.

The design does not feature text. The company therefore sees it as suitable for Christmas wrapping without text, winter bouquet wrapping, and other timeless gift wrapping. According to Carccu, the single-color illustration also represents another interpretation of restraint in patterning, creating its effect through line, contrast, and repetition rather than a broader color palette.
