Yaliyomo Platform

Y Platform secures trust between consumer and brands in a way we just haven’t seen before. We’re transforming content, is not just a tool, but an actual asset that can help deliver trust driven growth”

— Nihat Arkan, Chief Executive Officer

COLOGNE, GERMANY, August 4, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — European tech start-up Yaliyomo has its sights set firmly on a revolution in content management with the launch of its new Content Management System – Y Platform, available worldwide from 22 July.

As the first tool for content management to fully incorporate blockchain technology, Y Platform promises full security, content transparency, and traceability by leveraging the platform’s ability to create an immutable record of every product or action in a value chain and giving companies total and complete oversight of their operation.

Speaking at the launch, Yaliyomo Chief Executive Nihat Arkan set out the benefits to business, saying, “Y Platform directly addresses new generation consumer demands around product traceability and secures trust between consumer and brand owner/retailer in a way we just haven’t seen before. We’re transforming content – so that it is not just a tool, but an actual asset that can help deliver trust driven business growth.”

Since establishing the company in Cologne in January 2020, Yaliyomo has rapidly developed the Y Platform, with investors from across Europe and the USA including Verum Capital and Techwave Consulting backing the brand.

A vital part of the company’s promise to clients is confidence in Y Platform’s Blockchain-based security credentials – especially important for firms worried about data security and external cybersecurity breaches.

Björn Bayard, explains, “By building Y Platform from the ground up with integrated blockchain technology, we’re providing a completely secure tool, with end-to-end accountability of product content. By guaranteeing the authenticity of a product and its provenance, Y Platform safeguards quality assurance and gives total transparency to content and processes in critical and sensitive industries. This guarantee has obvious and long-lasting benefits to firms that rely on trust with their consumers and with stakeholders in their value chain.”

The company is in discussion with firms in the luxury retail space, where this trust between consumer and retailer is fundamental and where enhanced trusted-content can quickly equate to millions in revenue gains. The company hopes their unique offering will also interest to brand owners and traditional retailers looking at ahead at post-COVID recovery strategies.

In addition to securing funding to fuel the next stage of corporate development, Yaliyomo has established a Global Advisory Board (https://yaliyomo.net/gab) of Retail, Finance and Technology specialists. The board’s Chairman Jörg Pretzel, CEO of Symposium Feines Essen und Trinken emphasized the fact that Y’s unique platform is extremely important for brand owners and retailers to provide full content visibility (traceability) of the products they sell and enables brand owners/retailers to manage their products integrity and reputation

Y Platform is available today at https://yaliyomo.net/

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam has just warned about ensuring the quality of export masks, avoiding affecting the image of Vietnam's exports.

We do not compromise on our product's quality. There was one buyer who requested us to remove the aseptic packaging to reduce the price, but we insisted on quality and so we turned away the client.”

— Henry Pham – CEO DONY Garment Company

VIETNAM, August 2, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Vietnamese deal in Sweden recently reported that it had received information from a Danish company about some Vietnamese companies using CE (certificate required by the EU market) issued by organizations. are not recognized by the EU to export medical equipment and supplies to the EU.
There are signs of uncontrolled quality

Last time, face masks and preventive protection products had a sharp increase in export turnover. This is a commodity that helps many business units can diversify products, boosting exports in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic causing much damage.

According to data from the General Department of Customs, in May, the whole country had more than 150 enterprises (enterprises) participating in exporting medical masks. Correspondingly, the number of medical masks has been exported to 181.54 million units. Before that, from the beginning of the year until the end of April, the country had exported more than 139 million medical masks of all kinds.

It can be seen that, after the Government issued Resolution No. 60 / NQ-CP, abolishing the regulation of applying the export licensing regime for medical masks at the end of April, immediately in May, the number of Export of medical masks has increased sharply, accounting for more than half of the turnover since the beginning of the year.

Notably, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, previously Vietnamese enterprises had to import antibacterial cloth or chemicals to produce the antibacterial fabric. But now, some enterprises, such as Nam Dinh Silk Weaving Company, have been able to produce antibacterial fabric entirely from domestic biological materials.

However, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is concerned that the sudden increase in demand has caused the export market of these products to grow hot and show signs of uncontrolled quality. This creates a risk of affecting the image of Vietnam's exports.

Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of Import and Export Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, emphasized: “Recently, the number of companies involved in the production and export of masks and protective gear for epidemics has increased rapidly. In particular, according to the FDA certification units (certificates required by the US market) and CE, the process to apply for these certificates takes from weeks to months. In this short time, many businesses get those certificates and find that is not suitable. ”

Mr. Hai added, in the context of complicated movements of the COVID-19 epidemic in markets such as the US and the EU … they could ease import conditions for these epidemic prevention items. However, once the epidemic is more controlled, these markets will certainly increase its control again. "If Vietnam's goods do not meet the standards they have set, the possibility of Vietnamese goods being blocked is very high," – Hai warned.

Facing the above situation, Deputy Director of the Import and Export Department Tran Thanh Hai recommends that companies exporting mask and personal protective equipment need to understand thoroughly the units with functions of consultancy, testing, testing and certification of standards, conformity assessment, especially when businesses want to issue CE certification for export to the EU market and FDA certification for export to the US market.

“Markets in developed countries often require high quality and safety requirements for users. Therefore, businesses learn about these standards to meet, apply for appropriate certificates to facilitate export activities "- a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.

According to the research, the number of units with the function of testing, testing, and certifying export certificates to the EU and US in Vietnam is not much, only about 10 units. Because these organizations must originate from the EU or from the US, set up representative offices in Vietnam.

In the evening of 5th June 2020, Dony Garment Company and other Vietnamese enterprises have donated medical supplies to the US people.

At the ceremony, Mr. Daniel Kritenbrink, U.S. Ambassador in Vietnam has extended his heartfelt gratitude and confirmed that Operation USA Organization which based in Los Angeles, USA will distribute these medical supplies to needed places such as as California, New York, etc.

Dony Masks have met standards for protecting public health (US Food), Drug Administration (FDA), DGA certified from France, and received CE certification from French Cert.

A New Bed For A Changed Earth

Three Quarter View of King Size Horizontal Bed

Heroic View of Bed

The Horizontal Button Bed

Lina Button Fitted Sheet

Lina Linen Button Fitted Sheet

The Need For Major Changes To The Bed Industry Is Urgent

Design today has to consider all the stakeholders and deliver beautiful, safe, and long lasting solutions. Horizontal is a complete solution for sleeping well in the time of Climate Breakdown.”

— Len Laycock

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, July 30, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — After two and a half years of research, development, and testing, Vancouver based Horizontal Sleep is introducing a new, patented sleeping system, intentionally designed to exceed all other bed environmental and health standards. While almost beds are made with petroleum, polymers, plastics, chemicals, coils and carbon, HORIZONTAL is completely different. The new bed/mattress is 99.8% biodegradable, made with replaceable parts, and designed to last a human lifetime. These changes, all in one product, are revolutionary.

The Bed and Mattress Industry is a major source of toxic pollution caused by near total reliance on petroleum ingredients. In recent years, bed waste has exploded due to a combination of much shorter product replacement cycles and marketing gimmicks. The Bed Industry, through the Better Sleep Council, the plethora of bed-in-a-box concepts, and large mattress chains, now makes beds intended to last less time than ever before. Product warranties are shorter and product returns have quadrupled. In the United States, nearly 10 billion pounds of mattress/bed waste is discarded every year. From 2010 to 2015 bed/mattress waste increased by 66% and it is accelerating. Western countries are now so overwhelmed, bed/mattress waste is surreptitiously exported worldwide by container to poor countries for dumping. The Bed Industry takes nearly no responsibility for the health and environmental catastrophe it has created. The scale, scope and impacts are revealed in Why Casper Wave Makes Me Seasick.

Horizontal Sleep’s breakthrough design is a decisive solution to the alarming increase in toxic mattress and bed waste. Horizontal proves toxic beds can be eliminated, and illnesses induced by environmental harm can be vastly reduced. Horizontal’s positive impact will be felt well beyond the bedroom. Horizontal aims to significantly reduce or eliminate exposure to petrochemical based plastic products and the shadowy fire retardants that fill our homes and characterize our petroleum-soaked lifestyles.

By introducing Four Biophilic Design Standards to consumer product design, Horizontal redefines what is acceptable for human health and environmental safety in the bedroom. Horizontal Sleep’s founder Len Laycock says, “Design today has to consider all the stakeholders and deliver beautiful, safe, and long lasting solutions. Horizontal is a complete solution for sleeping well in the time of Climate Breakdown.”. Laycock explains that Horizontal innovates on four needed product attributes:

The presence of DNA in our materials confirms they are: 1) Created by biological processes, 2) Already a design approved by Nature, 3) Contain valuable nutrients for future life, 4) Safely biodegrade, and 5) Are not toxic petrochemicals.

Horizontal aims to end consumer 'throwawayism’. Replaceable parts extend product longevity and anticipate future innovations. The Right to Repair supports the economic and environmental security of all people. The company’s eco-engineering and natural material choices make planned obsolescence, obsolete!

Would you throw away a bicycle because it had a flat tire? Of course not. With Climate Breakdown upon us, all consumer products must be re-thought and re-conceived to reduce carbon and last much longer. If consumption does not decrease, reducing carbon and methane emissions will be impossible. We have to live with less, and live with better. A well-made bed that can be maintained and restored all of your life means Horizontal may be the last bed you ever purchase.

The Horizontal bed is so well made its comfort compares favourably to far more expensive beds like Duxiana, Hastens and Naturepedic. Unlike almost all beds, its design is minimalist, focused on optimal spine alignment and superior air flow up from below the bed. All materials are natural, carefully vetted for health, and there are no metal parts. New innovative bedding makes it easier and faster to make the bed, with unique fitted sheets that simply button in place, and stay in place. Horizontal is a complete sleeping system that lowers the entry price for eco-luxury, and by virtue of its longevity, actually costs less than lower priced beds over a lifetime of restful sleep.

Horizontal is a consumer product technology startup dedicated to reducing consumption and solving problems caused by Climate Breakdown, of which sleep is one. The well-being, health and environmental safety of humans, their happiness, the protection of wild life and wild spaces, the integrity of Earth’s air, water and soil are all inter-dependent parts of one whole. In this 21st century, you cannot sustain any one of these without sustaining the others. Our business model considers all of these as our stakeholders.

Horizontal has developed special expertise in the fields of natural material solutions, industrial design, manufacturing, marketing and sleep. The company has nurtured a network of technical resources to support its goals, including a successful association with University of British Columbia Wood Sciences Faculty and an international network extending to Europe, Asia and the United States. Horizontal Sleep Ltd was founded by Len Laycock, former Marketing Director of IKEA, an entrepreneur, environmentalist and lover of good sleep.

Jeremy Lott on the Future of Working From Home

Jeremy Lott on the Future of Working From Home

SEATTLE, WA, USA, July 29, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ — Jeremy Lott, Seattle president and owner of SanMar, has always expressed pride in how his team members handle challenges. Without a doubt, COVID-19 provides one of SanMar’s biggest challenges ever. Long-term planning has become difficult as companies like SanMar decide how to provide a safe and productive work environment. Jeremy Lott and his team are developing plans to protect both the company and its employees through careful research.

Jeremy Lott Mercer Island Executive on Evolving Remote Viewpoints

Jeremy Lott’s Seattle headquarters has always been ahead of trends in workplace technologies. Long before the pandemic, key workgroups were already working remotely, including critical teams such as the credit and inside sales departments. This fact helped tremendously with the transition to working from home full-time. Team members already felt comfortable with the technologies used to be productive in a virtual environment.

During the summer months, Jeremy Lott supported SanMar’s efforts to ensure all employees who could, were able to work remotely. Several departments within the company implemented new processes to ensure critical tasks get handled promptly. Most specifically, the legal and finance departments worked to transform processes that relied heavily on physical documents, and the marketing team transformed how they proof print catalogs. Jeremy Lott and SanMar integrated new digital tools to navigate these departmental changes. Whether digital workflow and routing tools or relocating key equipment to employee’s homes, the majority of corporate team members have been able to work remotely with success.

What to Expect from Jeremy Lott SanMar

SanMar and Jeremy Lott are consistently revising and reviewing long-term plans. As the country plans to opens back up for business, Jeremy Lott isn’t reverting entirely to the previous workplace model. Instead, departments and team members are evaluating on a team by team basis. There’s no one-size-fits-all rule for every department.

Collecting feedback from staff is part of the planning process for Jeremy Lott. In most cases, team members who historically felt the need for in-person meetings are finding remote collaborations constructive. Many staff members feel productive levels surge since they no longer have to face the busy commute. Home offices can sometimes provide a quiet and distraction-free area to focus, but balancing childcare when schools are remote is another consideration that SanMar is working through with employees.

Jeremy Lott Seattle Company Background

Jeremy Lott has been a key figure in his family-owned and operated Mercer Island business from the very beginning. As the cover star on Sanmar’s first catalog, he has worked for the company in one capacity or another his entire life. Today, the MBA graduate is the president of SanMar and has aimed to expand Sanmar’s industry reach.
